We all know that managing multiple Google accounts is certainly quite a hassle. To make life easier, Google is working to bring Multiple Account Sign-in option, noted Google Operating System Blog. So, if you have like two or more Google accounts for personal and work related reasons, you'll need to log-in just once. This means you can manage both your accounts simultaneously from single login.
For instance, if you have two Gmail accounts - one for work and one for personal activities, Google doesn't allow you to log into two different Google Accounts using the same browser. So instead of using different browsers to log into different accounts, multiple account sign-in would let you sign into two accounts simultaneously. However, only select few Google Services would support multiple account sign-in and they are - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Reader, Google Voice, App Engine and Google Code.
This feature would be available at the Google Accounts page wherein Personal Settings menu option will list multiple sign-in option just below the email addresses setting. You'll be reminded of a similar feature on Google Analytics if you have ever used it. Also, it will serve as an account switcher that will allow checking out different Google Accounts from top right corner without signing out from any of them.
Management of different services and keeping track of activities in two or more Google Accounts would become much easier with this new feature. As of now, there's no official heads up about this feature but we did report about this being hinted from spruced Gmail Interface screenshot.
